Seeing flood warnings and people recovering from floods on the news is becoming a regularoccurrence. The latest homes to get hit by floods were in Cumbria. With climate change having quite a large effect at the moment, the amount of homes at risk from flooding is expected to rise.

Currently the Environment Agency estimates that 1 in 6 houses are at risk of flooding. With this number set to rise within the next 24 months, we will most likely be even more flood reports next year.

One big problem that many home owners are facing that are living in areas at risk of flooding is buying home insurance, particularly if it’s insurance for holiday homes. Due to insurers knowing a common flood claim will cost up to £40,000, you should factor in insurance price into the cost of buying a home. Fortunately, there are resources online where you can find out whether your home is at risk.

How should I start off my path to real estate?

I am 16, and planning on going in real estate because it seems like hard work in that business pays off compared to other places and because I am very persuasive.
When I start my junior year at my high school.. I have about 2 free clases what do you think I should take that will help me with real estate?
I am going to go to “cal state san bernardino” after I graduate high school. So what clases do you guys suggest I should take there and what should I major in.. that will ultimately help me with my real estate journey.
Also someone suggested to me I should get insurance..220 license ,real estate, mortgage license? can someone explain to me what all that does?
