Tall trees help protect houses from crime, says study conducted in Southeast Portland
The study, conducted by a two U.S. Forestry Service researchers, found that tall trees indicate that a neighborhood is cared for and under watch by authorities, which deters crime.

You’ll need to make sure folks see the value in your house if you want to sell it in today’s market conditions. Owning a home in a good area is not the only thing people look at these days. People have a lot of choices right now when it comes to buying a home and they will choose wisely. I wrote this page to share some tips with people that are trying to sell their house at a fair price. We’ll go over some of the simple steps that do not require much money or time.
Getting your home put into mls listings is not the one and only thing you should be doing. Just because somebody is looking for homes for sale in Minnesota and you happen to have one, doesn’t mean they will automatically buy from you. Marketing your home in various ways will be one of the keys to your success.
For starters, put a sign up in front of your house so that people from the neighborhood will know about it. Its entirely possible that one of your neighbors will tell a friend or family member to come and take a look at it. Once you have your sign firmly planted in your front yard, you should hop back on the computer and put an ad out on the Internet. Craigslist is a great place to put up a quick add with a link pointing to your listing.
