my husband and I purchased a home 4 mos. ago and since then 4 homes have went up for sale, 3 homes are for rent and one home forclosed. Does this do anything to the value of OUR home?

Can the government/mortgage company go after your other assets if you foreclose on one of your investment homes?

My house in California is currently in foreclosure. I have a 1st and a 2nd mortgage as well as a 3rd, seller note. What happens at the foreclosure auction? What happens if there isn’t enough funds to pay off the leins? What if any steps should I take?

I have never heard what happens to these families. I also saw in the news yesterday that the gov’t was giving $1000 away to families who left their forclosed homes in good condition. They said half of forclosed homes were being trashed as revenge for them being forced to move out of their homes.
