All the pictures I have ever seen of their homes are so clean. I have three children and my home is pretty much always a mess! How do they do it?

I saw an interview with a Fisher family member that started Fisher House – they buy, and now build houses for families to visit (frome a few weeks to over a year) vets recuperating from serious injuries. They have a program where one can donate credit card miles to facilitate the travel of families from their homes to the vets. Has anyone any information about their legitimacy? For the record, I’m not affiliated in any way – I just saw an interview.

By families, I mean American families, and by a typical day I mean what role did each person in the family play, what did people do in their homes, etc. Also, it would be helpful if you mention what families outside the U.S. did on a typical day during WW2 as well (places like Germany or Japan or anywhere).
