You are not taking advantage of the power of technology such as the Internet if your sales agents are still focusing on the use of printed materials when making their listing presentations.  The traditional way of making a listing presentation was to distribute a comparative market analysis (CMA), some fliers and ads for other listings, and some literature provided by you.  However, this has been rendered ineffective by the emergence of technology that are more helpful when the agent is able to demonstrate some slide show presentations with his computer and display the realtor websites.

With Internet access almost available everywhere, your agent could instantly demonstrate to a customer who wants to sell his property how his home could be easily included into the IDX MLS solutions on your website.  With technology, your agent would be able to immediately show to the customer that his property is now included in the MLS.

Email is another technology that could add to the power of your listing presentations.  You can show to the client that you can promote your listings via email campaigns that are actually run by computer software practically without human intervention and this is an important tool for producing real estate leads.  A list of possible recipients for the above email campaign could be automatically produced by a contact management program that in turn is a component of a larger tool for administering your realtor website.

A video tour is another helpful technological tool that you could plug in to your website for use in listing presentations.  These video tours in your website could have been done for past clients and your sales agent can show them as examples to a potential client who is looking to sell his property.  The agent can inform the potential client that he will email other realtors and prospects such a video presentation for his property.

Showing to a potential client a slide show presentation is really very helpful because pictures are really more potent than just words.  Your agent can make the presentation through his laptop computer and he can go to your site to show the presentation.  The CMA, of course, is another important tool that could also be very helpful particularly if you use graphs for comparing the various properties.  Tables can also be utilized to compare the various properties with regards to square footage, amenities, age of construction, and location.   With these technological presentations, it would be easy to demonstrate to the potential client that you can really sell his property for a reasonable price.
